So, we’re back from San Diego.
Soooooo much fun! We read in “People” magazine that one of the three best beaches in the country was in San Diego. So we booked it on over the Coronado Bridge to the beach and guess what…it was a pretty, darn good beach. The water and sand did glisten a [...]

And…we’re back from Sandy Ago!
And…summer has been busy, so far!
I don’t know what day of the week it is or what day of the month it is - I’m pretty sure it is July, but other than that I’m at a total loss.
Yes, it is a great summer. I am loving every minute of it.
I hope you are, too!
And…it’s harvest time!
This is an actual tomato grown and harvested by my brother-in-law!
Yep, it came out of the garden this way. No photoshopping was used in this photo. Hmmmm, something must be in the dirt in Riverton, Utah.
Do you think this is the tomotoes way of letting us know he is getting plenty of sun?
Get a load [...]
And…it’s breast cancer awareness month!
O.K., O.K., it’s breast cancer awareness month - so please have your mammies grammed. Last year I wrote about my mother, who is a breast cancer survivor. This year, I work with a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed ten years ago at the age of 31, with no history of breast cancer in her [...]
And…it’s October
October is a big month in terms of “Awareness”!
It is the month of two of my favorite awareness campaigns! Autism and Breast Cancer Awareness!
My darling niece is autistic! We love her and she is darling. But, watch out. She will trick you into “bonking” her and then tattle on you! She is A*D*O*R*A*B*L*E! I want [...]
And…Snowbird
Yes, yes, yes, I know what you’re thinking! You are thinking that with a title like “Snowbird” we must be a little older, a little wiser, a little greyer in the hair, a little more retired (should I say a little more free time?), some grandchildren, etc. You get the picture.
No, we are not “snowbirds” [...]
And…if it’s Tuesday
If it’s Tuesday it must be “ME DAY!”
And…it’s red rock!
Over the weekend we went to Southern Utah. Southern Utah has such beautiful red rock. It is a very striking place.
We love to hike, swim, golf, etc. Anything that is fun in the sun - and yes, we do wear sunscreen.
Later on this week, I’ll post pictures from a hike we did in a place [...]
And…it’s a favicon!
Whew-hew!!! I finally have a favicon (favorite icon).
If you look up in the address bar, you will see my gal sal.
As you know, she is my little mascot. So it made sense that she should be on the address bar along with the blog name! I got the plugin from MaxBlogPress.
My gal has a white background. [...]
And…it’s Chicken Foot!
A typical opening setup for the first round of a game. All four sides of the opening double must be covered before play can continue.
An example of a Chicken Foot, played with fours. A double is played with its long side against the endpoint, and no other play can be made until three matching dominoes [...]
